CREATIVE: Porch & Pool

The Ask: Create an ample entertainment space off the porch and connect the existing backyard patio and deck. The home is located on a corner lot, so trees and shrubs must surround the pool to obscure a view from the road. The outdoor space includes a lounge area, a pavilion with a kitchen, and a dining area.

CREATIVE: Poolside retreat

The Ask: CRE was asked to update an existing pool area. The homeowner wanted a pavilion seating area with a bar, a lounging area for sunbathing, and a fireplace for cool evenings.

CREATIVE: Fire & WATER

The Ask: Create a backyard space with better flow and access from the house, including focal point elements and a covered outdoor kitchen. Currently, the upper deck is separated from the lower pool area, resulting in a divided outdoor experience.

Creative: Everyone’s Invited

The Ask: Reimagine the entire property to create a space to entertain many people. The design begins at the street and runs down the now wider and longer driveway, complete with cobblestone accents. The natural stone walk leads guests to a refreshed grand entrance porch. Around back, the space has been reinvented to become an entertainment hotspot. A sizeable two-level deck is a convenient place to grill, dine, and relax with the family. The lower level is a massive space with ample seating areas, an outdoor kitchen, and a step down to a luxurious pool. The pool area has tanning areas, a fire pit, and a sitting wall. The backline of the backyard has now been elevated and extended to provide a vast play space for children and adults.

The Ask: Update a front walkway and side patio while maintaining the home's unique character and design aesthetic.

Creative: HILLSIDE OASIS

Create an entertainment hotspot in a less-than-ideal yard. With a backyard mainly consisting of a hill, the homeowner's dream was to create a space complete with a pool, fireplace, fire pit, pavilion, outdoor kitchen, and even a batting cage. To make all of this possible, our design team embraced a multi-tier approach with smaller, shorter walls to ensure the space didn't feel too commercial.
