DESIGN PROPOSAL

CONCEPT: A space for everyone

The Ask: CRE Group has been asked to create an outdoor space that links all the backyard areas to become a unified entertainment destination. Beginning at the driveway, a series of elongated steps navigate the steep terrain along the house. The walk is flanked by small plantings, providing camouflage for the utilities along the house. Around the back, the steps lead to a central landing point that links all areas of the backyard entertainment space. To your left, spiral stairs lead up to the upper deck, where guests can sit, dine, or view the early sunset over the golf course. Back downstairs, beneath the deck, is a cozy cabana with soft seating and drapery. Ahead of you is a large patio to grill, dine, or perhaps sit and enjoy the warmth coming from the chiminea. To the right is a wide set of steps leading down to the pool. The massive pool is surrounded by hardscaping on all sides. To the left is a sitting wall, with lounge chairs in front. To the left is a rounded sitting wall providing a foundation for a focal point tree and planting bed. Across the pool, tall grasses offer some much-needed privacy from the occasional golfer walking the path.
